The theory
of trickle-down conservation...
At Headwaters Montana, our work
begins where the water does. We
believe that by protecting the
highest, most pristine
watersheds, we conserve land,
wildlife and water across the
region. After all, every one of
us lives downstream of a
headwater. |
|
At Headwaters
Montana, we take our name and our philosophy from this
positive, continuous force. Working through collaboration
and quiet persistence we are
shaping, improving and
protecting
the Crown of the
continent region.
We invite you to join us... |

Mission Statement...
The Crown of the
Continent forms the headwaters of North
America and gives rise to the rich
landscape of the Missouri, Saskatchewan
and Columbia rivers. Headwaters Montana
works in alliance with individuals and
communities in this transboundary region
to protect its pristine waters,
undisturbed wildlands and abundant
wildlife. We strive to retain these
values for present and future
generations in the face of global
climate change and increasing human
population.

Water is movement...
From the
highest places, a single drop
flows down, attracting, joining,
mixing with other drops until
they become something larger - a
stream, a river, an ocean, a
force shaping everything around
it, creating beauty and life. |
